In Episode Twenty Six of The Closeout Bodyboarding Podcast we talk to Newly Minted Pipe Invitee Tom Morris.

Strike missions can be touch and go, in this case it was a bit of both. Filmed over 2 days on location in Watu. With the help of Funkshen boards, Tom shot over in hopes of cold bintangs and crystal blue cylinders, the result is this little mash up. ATTICA and Limited edition also throwing down some support.

Joe Clarke knew he had to make the most of a swell lining up with a couple of days off work. “I noticed the tide was better for the afternoon and the swell was meant to peak, so I popped the boat in for a fish in the morning”. After catching a few nice fish, he ditched the rod, grabbed his boog gear, and made a mad dash to the Sunshine Coast for what turned out to be 3-5ft of pure perfection.

In what appears to be a pumping season on the North shore of Oahu, Hawaii actually is quiete the illusion. Most of this footage was filmed over the 3 days that actually had waves out of the 5 weeks Tom spent in Hawaii.

2 weeks in Java surfing this place everyday was so sick kinda like a dream. Best trip wave wise I’ve been on in terms of consistency and crowds!

This was my first time surfing here on a proper board with a proper set up (first time I hired some crappy board with no stringer and snapped it, sorry urbn surf).
